A1:Jasmy's idea of "Data Democracy" is similar to the concept of "Web3." It aims to establish a society where individuals can securely handle their own data, rather than having large corporations gather and analyze data centrally to offer services.
Q2:What specific services does Jasmy Inc. provide?
A2:Jasmy Inc. provides specific services through its "Personal Data Locker" (PDL), allowing individuals to securely manage and store their own data. This technology empowers users to determine with whom they share their data and even anonymize it during sharing.
What is PDL (Personal Data Locker)?
It is an online storage-type personal management and usage system utilizing blockchain technology developed by Jasmy Inc. PDL allows users to manage and provide their own data in a decentralized and secure environment on the blockchain, reducing the time and cost involved in protecting personal data.
Q3:How can one break free from the dominance of big tech?
A3:The Personal Data Locker not only protects data but also enables its utilization. For instance, by storing data on daily activities and analyzing it with AI, users can link it to services that match their personalities. This is referred to as platinum data. By utilizing small data instead of big data, Jasmy Inc. aims to create a new world where the economy revolves around small communities, rather than large corporations monopolizing data and revenue.
Q4:What is the secret behind Jasmy's technological prowess?
A4:Tadashi Morita, who previously developed FeliCa at Sony, has joined the company as a security engineer since 2020. We plan to continue hiring excellent personnel in the future. Additionally, we are developing hardware that will enable users to perform AI analysis with peace of mind.
Q5:What are the expectations for the future?
A5:First and foremost, it is crucial for each user to have a sense of urgency about how their data is being used. I would be pleased if people would be more concerned about their personal data and thought, "Let's change it," rather than "The future will change."
Keiko Kimura
She joined The Asahi Shimbun Company in 1999, where she worked in the Niigata and Chiba branches covering judiciary and administration. In 2004, she transferred to the AERA editorial department, serving as Deputy Editor-in-Chief for 14 years. Kazumasa Sato
He is President & COO of Jasmy Inc. He served as President of Sony Style .com Japan Inc. in 2000, and held various positions at Sony, including Director of the Creative Center, before leaving Sony in 2016 to establish Jasmy.
